Honours and PhD Students

The Heng lab investigates the genetics of nerve cell formation within the mammalian brain.  Our strategy is to understand the role for genes which control the production of new neurons during embryonic brain development, so as to be able to eventually apply our findings to direct stem/progenitor cells to produce new neurons of our choosing for transplantation medicine.

Projects are currently available for enthusiastic and talented Honours and PhD students.

Please send an email along with your brief resume to Julian Heng at Julian.Heng@monash.edu
