Development of the visual cortex Brain plasticity |
| Biography: | I am currently in my fourth year of my PhD under the supervision of Dr James Bourne. I investigate how the brain rewires itself after early postnatal and adult brain trauma using marmoset monkeys. Methods include injecting tracers into the eyes and brain, immunohistochemistry, histology to see the anatomical changes and electrophysiology to see the functional changes in the brain.
