| Biography: | I completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at the University of Melbourne specialising in Reproductive and Developmental Biology. This was followed by a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in stem cell research with Prof Alan Trounson at Monash Immunology & Stem Cell Laboratories. I am now a PhD student co-supervised by Prof David Kaye at the Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute, and Prof Nadia Rosenthal at ARMI, with research on the cardiac regeneration theme. I work at both of these excellent research institutes, and am fortunate to be able to use the facilities at both. I also collaborate strongly with Prof Pete Currieās group, because I have strong interest in using the zebrafish as a model of heart regeneration.
