In respect to the biochemical or cellular level, I have developed an affinity with redefining the term 'permanent cells' through studying the regenerative capacity of such cells particularly neurons and how this translate to the more universal overview of developmental biology as I also find it important to reflect on the phylogeny that pertains to humans and to ascertain the functional similarities we have with other species whether it is murine or primate. |
