ARMIRat Project - Workshop

The ARMIRat Project is an academic collaboration between researchers at the Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute and at the University of Southern California (USC) to develop technology in advanced conditional mutagenesis and animal modelling.

The initial rat models to be generated will focus on two clinically relevant models: hypertension and cardiac disease.  Once the technology is established, collaboration with other groups will lead to new rat models to study other diseases.

The outcome of this collaboration will be a technology platform operated by ARMI with expertise and capacity to provide transgenic rat services to the life sciences community.  It will be operated as a service provided by ARMI.

You are invited to join this special event, where world leading speakers will be presenting on the development and production of rat conditional gene knockouts.
