Would you like to do your PhD in Europe? EMBL Australia recently announced a new program to enable Australian students to undertake their PhD in Europe. The PhDs will be jointly-awarded by the student’s Australian university and the renowned European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) and are eligible for APA funding.


An information session with Helke Hillebrand, Dean of Graduate Studies, EMBL will be held Monday 14th June.  Helke is based at the EMBL campus in Heidelberg, Germany. She will provide an overview of the program, life as an EMBL PhD student and where the program can take your research career.

The EMBL has campuses in Germany (Heidelberg and Hamburg), France (Grenoble), Italy (Monterotondo) and England (Hinxton).
