Research Groups
Research groups at ARMI are named for the Group Leader of each group.
Research groups:
- Barberi group: Pluripotent stem cells (embryonic stem cells)
- Bourne group: Development and maturation of
the cerebral cortex of primates and other mammals
- Currie group: Zebrafish muscle development and evolution
- Heng group: Nerve cell production and maturation in the mammalian brain
- Kaslin group: Mechanisms of cellular brain plasticity
- Lieschke group: Development and function of white blood cells (leukocytes)
- Marcelle group: Morphogenesis and tissue growth during embryonic development
- McGlinn group: genetic heirarchies governing patterning mechanisms
- Plachta group: dynamic mechanisms in embryo patterning
- Rosenthal group:Embryonic heart development, ageing mechanisms and stem cell-driven regeneration of neuromuscular and cardiac tissue
